Whether this is your first time with me or we are
now on child number three, I am looking forward to getting to know you and
your child better this year. I am looking forward to a year full of fun and
learning as we try to reach our potential and develop our unique gifts.
I have been at Menno Simons since 2003. My
training is in Special Education and prior to Menno most of my teaching
experience has been in various special education settings. I have taught in
Edmonton Public, Regina Public, and Fort McMurray Public. I have been really
fortunate to work with some amazing people and Menno is no exception!
Family is a huge part of my life and I am blessed
to have a great husband and two daughters. One attends here at Menno and one
has just started High School. We also have a dog named Buddy who usually a
blessing, but sometimes he is not! My favorite thing to do is spend time with
my family especially on games night. I love to be in the mountains, garden,
watch sports with my husband, and read. A great evening for me is to have time
to have a hot cup of tea while I read a great mystery!
This site is intended to give you information in
a spot where it can be easily accessed and you do not have to hold on to a
piece of paper all year. I lose those too! If you have further questions, let
