About The Teacher
I am a graduate of Auburn University in Merchandising and also a graduate of UAB in Elementary Education. This will be my 10th year teaching 4th grade at Bessemer Academy. I really do love teaching this grade level. I have had other jobs, but none I have ever enjoyed as much as teaching. On a personal note, my husband and I have been happily married for 27 years and we are both graduates of BA. We are members of Bellview Baptist Church in McCalla. My husband is Director of the I.T. Department at Colonial Properties in Birmingham. We have one son, Nicholas,who is also graduate of BA. Bessemer Academy is very special to me and my husband and to our families. We both started BA the year it was founded in 1970. We have wonderful memories of the school, the faculty, and fellow classmates. GO REBELS!!!! I hope you all will find this website useful.
