This is my 22nd year to teach for the Decatur City Schools, and I have
taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. I am so excited about having the opportunity
to teach your child this year! I earned my Master's degree in education in
1990 and received National Board Certification in 2003. I am married to Pat
Busing, a banker at CB&S Bank, and I have two children, Hannah,
age 16, and Chandler, age 13. We attend Westmeade Baptist Church where my
husband and I both teach the 10th Grade Sunday School Class.
My philosophy is that ALL children can learn.
My goal is to not only teach students academically, but to teach them how to
be kind, be responsible, and be the best they can be in life!
