This is my 20th year to teach for the Decatur City Schools, and I have
taught 3rd and 4th grade. I am so excited about having the opportunity to
teach 2nd grade this year! I earned my Master's degree in education in
1990 and received National Board Certification in 2003. I am married to Pat
Busing, a banker at Renasant Bank, and I have two children, Hannah,
age 14, and Chandler, age 11.
My philosophy is that ALL children can learn.
My goal is to not only teach students academically, but to teach them how to
be kind, be responsilbe, and be the best they can be in life!
In Mrs. Busing's class, we will use the 7 Habits and respect others. We
will pay attention and have fun learning.
