I grew up and live in the Dora area. I attended Samford University for each of my degrees -
Bachelor in Paralegal Studies, Masters in Early
Childhood and Elementary Education and Educational Specialist in Early Childhood and Elementary
Education.

I have been married for 18 years and have two children. Adam is in the 7th Grade and
Lexi is in 1st Grade.

This is my 7th year to teach - my 6th in kindergarten. This is the second full year that I have
been at Concord. I taught 1st grade at Concord for part of the 05/06 school year.

I love cats! At last count I had 12 cats - 7 of them born this year. The male cats tend to
wander off so the count changes often. I am also an avid reader and have been since I learned
to read. I love mystery novels especially ones by James Patterson and Patricia Cornwell. I
also love the Harry Potter books and movies. I attend Sumiton Church of God where I teach the
K5 Sunday School Class and the Wednesday night girls class.
