September: 6-Give each family a tree form and let them add family members 19-Send home a pair of paper socks along with a note about silly sock day. Have children decorate socks. October: 3-"What I Want To Be" Have children draw a picture showing what they want to be when they grow up. Parents write a short sentence about child's picture. 17-Decorate pumpkin pattern. November: 14-Decorate turkey pattern. December: 5-Decorate a christmas ornament. January: 9-Decorate a snowman. 23-Have children bring environmental print from home. February: 6-Decorate Valentine bags and send back by February 12. March: 6-Bring a picture of your favorite farm animal. 20-Decorate a kite pattern. April: 3-Insect activity 24-Draw a picture of you and your family. May: 1-Chicka Chicka Boom Boom activity-put letters on a tree.
