I am so fortunate to teach first grade at Cullman City Primary School. I
look forward to spending each day with my students. Teaching first grade is
truly the most rewarding job in the world.
I received my teaching degree from Samford University, where I majored in
Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education. I also received my
master's degree from the University of West Alabama. My husband Nathan and I
love traveling and recently took trips to Italy and France. When I'm not at
school, I enjoy getting together with family and friends, playing boardgames,
and cooking. I currently have the honor of representing Cullman City Schools
as Teacher of the Year.
My mission as a first grade teacher is to create a comfortable learning
environment for my students, teach in a fashion that motivates each one, and
encourage students to make learning a lifelong process.
