The Dolphin Class did a WONDERFUL job on their DIBELS testing last week.
Congratulations! I am so proud of all of our great readers! I hope that
you are too! Isn't it amazing to see how much they have grown and changed
in First Grade? I think so. It has been a privilege to have each of your
children in my classroom this year and I have truly enjoyed getting to know
each of them. Thank you for sharing them with me!
It's hard to believe that we only have two more weeks of school left! Here
are some of the events that are coming up:
*Monday May 12th: Student Appreciation Day
* Tuesday May 13th: East and West Visit
* Wednesday May 14th: Teacher Appreciation Luncheon
* Thursday May 15th: Jazz Band/ Fun in the Sun with Mrs. Lewis' Class
* Friday May 16th: Field Day
* Monday May 19th: Art! Art! Art!
* Tuesday May 20th: Heritage Park Field Trip
* Wednesday May 21st: PE Awards/ Board Games Day
* Thursday May 22nd: LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
I would like to say a special thank you to Cindy Childers and Marteen Barbee
for serving as our homeroom moms this year. They have done a wonderful job
of taking care of our class and helping with all of our special events. We
couldn't have done it without you! Thank you so much!
Thank you also to all of the parents who sent in water for our Fun in the
Sun Day, Field Day, and Heritage Park. We can always use more if you are
still thinking about sending in a case.
