Your child has been working in music on songs. Please have your child wear 
his or her class t-shirt this day. You are invited to attend. After the 
concert I would like to meet back in the classroom for a special kindergarten 
celebration.

Reading

We will be fiction reading books on ocean life. We will be learning whole 
group diagraphs and blends. 
We will be working like first graders!

NEW INFORMATION
We will not have homework sheets

We will be reading books each night and swapping them out to get new books 
each day. You child is responsible for getting the new books each morning. 
Please sign that they read the books and how many books they read. This will 
be the way they earn their tickets.

We will do the reading for this week and next but all have to be turned in 
the last week of school for inventory.

Unit will be the study of ocean life.

Math Skill. 
We will have math review this week

Writing
We will be writing in our ocean theme booklet
