Please read the Take-Home reader (in the manilla envelope) at least three
times each evening. These books should be easy reading for you child. The
goal is for your child to slow down or struggle with only a few words in the
story. This is providing important fluency practice. PLEASE READ DAILY!
The students and I will complete side A of the math page in class. Side B
should be completed at home and returned the following school day. Please
look over your child's work before returning it to school.
Continue to play the math games "Compare" and "Double Compare" with your
child. We begin investigating patterns this week and will have a math
activity to do at home.
