A Few of My Favorite Things Interview

1. Who are you?

My full name is Anna Howell Anderson. I teach first grade at CullmanCityPrimary School.

2. What is your favorite grade to teach?

By far, my favorite grade to teach is FIRST. I can’t imagine doing anything else!

3. What are your favorite books to read to the class?

I love reading any book by Audrey Wood, Kevin Henkes, or Dr. Seuss. Also, any book I mention reading in a class newsletter is a big favorite!

4. Where are your favorite places to shop?

I love to shop. A few of my favorite places are Monograms Plus, Wal-Mart, Belk, Express, and Ross.

5. What are your favorite colors?

I love bright colors, like pinks, greens, yellows, blues and oranges.

6. What are your favorite candies?

I love almost any candy! Some of my favorites are Starbursts, Chewy Sprees, Caramel Ghirardelli Chocolates, and Sour Gummy Worms.

7. What are your favorite flowers?

I love any flower that’s brightly colored, particularly tulips and roses.

8. What are your favorite restaurants?

I have a number of favorite restaurants. Some of my all-time favorites are as follows: Rumors Deli, The Cheesecake Factory, Stix, O’ Charley’s, Outback Steakhouse, and Red Lobster.

9. What are your favorite centers?

I love the listening center, and the center in which the students come to my table for individualized instruction. It’s great being able to be an active part of a child’s education.

10. Why did you become a teacher?

I became a teacher for so many reasons, but the main two reasons are because I LOVE children and because I wanted to be a positive impact on the lives of others.
