Head Start, Child Nutrition, and Extended Day

directed by your supervisor.
Flex Workday:The Flex
Workday is a required workday; however, teachers are given the option to work
on August 6, 2009 as per the calendar, or they may choose an alternate day
between July 20, 2009 and August 5, 2009. Whichever day is chosen, the teacher
must sign-in at their school's main office and work one full day (7.5 hours).
Flex Professional Development Day:
Certified employees are given the option of attending one professional
development activity (with the prior approval of their principal) during the
summer of 2009, in order to be exempt from the Professional Development Day on
February 12, 2010. Refer to Flex Professional Development Day guidance updated
each May.
