About The Teacher
After going through Cullman schools as a student, I returned to teach in my home community after college graduation. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Masters in Reading Education from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. I have since become Nationally Board Certified in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy. While teaching at Cullman City Primary School, I have been the Title I reading teacher, the school's reading specialist, and a 1st grade teacher. I enjoy reading, cooking, spending time with my family and 15 year old cocker spaniel (Becca), playing and spectating various sports, participating in church activities, traveling, and being outdoors.

Mission
The Peacock class will work together to be our best academically, socially, and emotionally. Children will have the opportunity to learn at their appropriate educational levels, while stretching themselves to higher levels of success. Learning will be a 'fun process' as children gain insight to themselves and the world around them.
