I am a lifelong Cullman resident and product of Cullman City Schools. I
attended Samford University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Early
Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education, and I am currently pursuing my
master's degree in Elementary Education. My hobbies include horseback
riding, traveling, volunteering with my church, and spending time with
friends, family, and pets. The things I enjoy most about teaching
kindergarten are nurturing students' love of learning and then being able to
watch them implement those new skills as they grow and mature.
I strive to provide every student with a positive, structured, and
fulfilling foundation for his/her educational career. Every day is an
opportunity to focus on character education, citizenship, and a sense of
community. Our classroom strives for excellence with high-quality
instruction and engaging activities. My desire for our class is that each
student realizes his or her full potential while increasing his or her
experiential background, paving the way for future success both in learning
and in life. Today's kindergarten students are tomorrow's leaders, and we
never lose sight of that here in the Alligator Class! Truly, some of our
greatest life lessons are those we learn in kindergarten!
