About The Teacher
Hello! I am lifelong resident of Cullman County and a product of the Cullman City School System. I am a 1997 graduate of Cullman High School and a 1999 graduate of Wallace State. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Alabama in 2002. I became a National Board Certified Teacher in December of 2006. This will be my 8th year teaching first grade at CCPS. Things I love are teaching reading, horseback riding, fishing, camping, shopping, and spending time with friends, family, and wonderful boyfriend Chris. I am the proud aunt of an amazing 4 year old named Jacey Grace and 2 year old Jacob Edward. Children are such a blessing and they make my life exciting and interesting every day! I cannot imagine a more fun-filled job than the one that I have.

Mission
My mission for my first graders this year is to grow, motivate, and challenge each child to reach their greatest potential! I plan to provide a warm, welcoming environment in which the children can learn, play, work, grow, respect, and achieve together. I plan to provide learning opportunities that will promote and grow lifelong learning behaviors.
