I am a life long resident of Cullman. I graduated from Cullman High School
in 1985. I attended Wallace State of Hanceville. I then transferred to
Athens State. I graduated from Athens in 1993 with a B.S. in Elementary
Education. I have been teaching for 13 years, I elected to stay home until
my youngest child was two. I am married to Kevin Kirkwood and we have two
sons Kyle and Jakob.
It is my mission to provide appropriate learning experiences that provide
academic, physical,social, and emotional development in a loving
environment. It is my goal to make all children feel welcome and actively
engage them in the learning process. My goal is for my students to become
independent, motivated, and successful learners.
