This is my eighth year teaching English at Cullman High School and my 18th 
year overall in education. I taught English 4 years at Ransom Middle School 
in Pensacola, Florida; and 6 years part-time English and Reading at Wallace 
State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama.  Also, I have 3 years work 
experience in print journalism as editor of "The Communicator" (College of 
Communication Alumni publication at The University of Alabama) and editor of 
monthly newsletter "Pushin On" for physicians & former patients at Spain 
Rehabilitation Center in Birmingham, AL.   

I graduated with a B.A. degree in Communication/English from The University 
of Alabama, and received an Alternative Education Teaching Certificate from 
The University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida (similar to the Fifth 
Year Program in Alabama).
