Parents:
There will be a 7th grade orientation for parents in the lunchroom at Prattville Intermediate
School on Thursday, May 15th at 5:30. The counselor will be available to give important
information and to answer any questions you may have about PJHS. Please make every effort to
attend.

Summer Training Camp 2008 will help sharpen reading and math/science skills.

Who Should Attend
• Students who need enrichment in reading
and/or math/science
• Students who need review and reinforcement of
the skills taught in reading and math/science
• Students who want to be part of an exciting,
innovative and fun learning environment
• Students should register for the grade they will be
attending in the fall
• A break will be given each day during which students may
purchase snacks
• Instruction will be provided by Daniel Pratt teachers and
Alabama Department of Education Reading
Initiative trainers
• Students should bring #2 pencils and a notebook the fi rst day.

Curriculum
Training Camps will meet from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Monday through Friday at Daniel Pratt.
Early and late child care are not available at Daniel Pratt
Elementary School. Students may be dropped off 15 minutes
before the session begins and must be picked up no later than 15
minutes following the session. A $20 late fee will be assessed
for students picked up late.
