I've been teaching at East Elementary for 18 years. I attended Athens
State College and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary
Education. I obtained a Master's Degree from the University of Alabama in
Birmingham.
I am married to Dan Stevens, and I have two grown daughters,Valeri, age
31, and Michele, age 28, who attended East Elementary. I have three grand-
daughters, Kaylee, age 10, Rosie, age 6, and Ally who was born on June 30.
Kaylee attends East Elementary. Rosie attends Cullman City Primary School.
My hobbies include reading, church choir, tennis, walking, and spending
time with my family and friends.
Our mission in the ELL classes is to become fluent English speakers.
