Hi, I am Cassie Bowen and this will be my fifth year to teach at East
Elementary. I attended college at Jacksonville State University and
graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Education from Athens State
University.
I am married to Brent Bowen. Brent is the manager and an instructor at
Triple Play Sports Academy. We have 2 boys - Colter who is 2 1/2 years old
and Cannon who is 9 months old, and they are the highlight of our lives. I
love watching them grow and learn new things everyday! As a family we enjoy
going to baseball games, swimming, playing outside, and of course reading
together every night!
Some of my other hobbies and interests include reading, shopping, traveling,
cooking, photography, and spending time with our family and friends.
I want my students to have confidence in themselves, be excited
to learn,and compassionate towards one another. I set high expectations for
my students to ensure that they can reach their highest potential. I have
an honest respect for students and a great enthusiasm for learning, and
I hope that this will motivate all students to achieve success! My goal
is not only to help your child be successful academically, but also to
learn responsibility and promote good character. By working together this
year, I believe that each student will use his/her abilities and achieve
excellence!
