In language, we will do some free writing.  They are all excited about the prospect of writing Christmas stories, but they will not be limited to that.

Math finds us trying something new:  long division.  We will complete chapter 13 this week and will do the book test on Friday.  It will come STRAIGHT from page 291.  Please help your student practice long division a little bit each night this week.  This is a new skill with many steps for them to remember.

Science-We will use the textbook to do a mini unit on Light and Color.  We will test on Friday.  I am including the study guide today, but we will not have covered all of the concepts until tomorrow.

Spelling-Unit 16 words are attached-we will test on Thursday.
