About The Teacher
Welcome to my class!! I am thrilled to be sharing this special year with you! Fifth grade is an exciting year full of new learning and high expectations. I grew up in the Cullman City School system. I attended East Elementary, Cullman Middle School, and graduated from Cullman High School in 2000. In 2004, I graduated from the University of North Alabama and soon started my teaching career at East. I feel fortunate to have come full circle and returned to East! My husband and I have a daughter, Avery. It is exciting watching her grow and learn new things. There is never a dull moment in our household. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, shopping, taking pictures, watching football, and traveling. It is my belief that an education is one of the most valuable gifts a person can ever be given. I am honored and excited to be a part of this educational journey! My goal as a teacher is to help each child become a lifelong learner and discover his/her dreams. The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you. ~B.B.
