Hi!! My name is Paige Faulk. I am married to Billy Faulk, and we have two
children. My son's name is Will, and he is an ninth grader at St. Bernard
Prepatory School. My daughter's name is Anna, and she is a fourth grader
here at East.
Some of my interests are spending time with my family and friends. My
family is very active in playing golf, riding bicycles, going hiking, going
to the lake,fishing, swimming, or snow skiing. I enjoy going to my
children's sports activities, whether I'm coaching or cheering them on,
seeing them having fun makes me happy. My son runs cross country in the fall,
plays basketball in the winter, and soccer in the spring. He keeps us very
busty with all his activities. My daughter is just as active with her soccer
and gymnastics. I enjoy going to gym and working out with my group of
friends in the morning. My husband and I riding our bicycles and playing
golf together, we also enjoy going out to
eat in Birmingham and with friends.
I graduated from Auburn University in 1987. I have been teaching since
1988. My first teaching job was at LaDonia Elementary School in Russell
County, Alabama. I taught second grade for two years. I moved back home and
started teaching at East Elementary in 1990. I taught third grade for ten
years. I have taught fourth grade for the last six years. I feel that
teaching is a very rewarding career. Seeing how the children grow from the
beginning of the year to the end is an exciting time.
I expect every child to come to school prepared to learn every day.
Throughout the day, I want each child to learn at least one new thing. I
also want each child to have fun while learning, and learn to laugh and enjoy
school.
