Married to Mark Farmer, we now have four children and two dogs.
Pets are Humdi (Arabic for "Friend") our British Lab and Reba,
our Red Bone hound.
Our Children are all in college. Roz and Scott Love, both in 3rd year Med
School at UAB, and both officers in the United States Navy. Drew and Kyle are
working on degrees in Criminal Justice at Wallace State and Auburn University
at Montgomery.
HOBBIES AND PLEASURES
Hiking, and riding four wheelers,reading, and being with friends (old and
new) are some fun things I like to do.
The above picture is Ed Buckbee and Mrs. Farmer. Mr. Buckbee was
commissioned by Wernher von Braun to build SPACE CAMP. He conducted the
history lecture when I attended Space Camp for Educators. He is signing a
copy of his book THE REAL SPACE COWBOYS he presented to each of us at SPACE
CAMP FOR EDUCATORS.
In this classroom, we believe that learning is a lifelong adventure. We
believe in facing each day with minds open to knowldege and hearts open to
love. We believe in the freedom to wonder, to ask, to explore, to imagine,
to create. We believe that success means doing our best, being our best,
and feeling proud of our effort. We believe that every one of us has
special talents and that the talents of each of us help all of us. We
believe in ourselves, in each other and IN THIS CLASSROOM.
