Always READ (this can be from material sent home from school or reading
material you have at home. EX. newspaper, magazines, recipes, notes, story
books, etc)
Review Addition/Subtraction facts nightly. Math facts are
the basis for so much math! If the children have memorized their facts they
can concentrate on other math concepts. This would be one important thing
you could help your child master.
Review any classwork sent home nightly. This re-enforces material covered
daily in class.
Check weekly parent letter and homework planner nightly for information
concerning additional homework. The children will be asked to list homework
or other news in their planner nightly. We may have homework in spelling,
math, reading and English during the week.
Homework will be Monday through Thursday. We will not have homework over
the weekend. This is time to be spent with family
