I am a native of Cullman, Al. I went to Cullman High School, Wallace State
then to Athens State. I am married to Charles Harrison and I have 3
children: Adam(25), Jon(23) and Amanda(21). I have been teaching 14 years: 3
years in 1st grade, 1 year in 3rd grade, 10 years in 2nd grade.
I was in banking for 18 years. I became a substitute teacher when my
oldest child entered school. I absolutely loved it. I then went back to
college to get an education degree.
Interesting things happen everyday with children. No one day is ever the
same. This is the most rewarding experience I have ever had. I thank you
for sharing a year of your child's life with me.
My mission is to have a classroom where learning is fun and productive. The
class will be a place the students will feel safe and secure while at
school. The students will become well rounded citizens in order to succeed
in life. I teach to all learning styles in order for each student to succeed
in 2nd grade with confidence.
