Discipline Plan
The safety and success of your child is
important to everyone at Foley
Elementary School. Student behavior at school is an important factor in
fostering a good learning environment for all students. Therefore, I am
providing you with a copy of the classroom expectations used in my classroom.
Important Features:
1. It provides your child with a
safe environment while at school.
2. All children are treated fairly.
3. No child has the right to keep
others from learning.
4. No child has the right to keep the
teacher from teaching.
Classroom Expectations:
1. I teach when there are no
distractions or other problems.
2. I listen to students when they
raise their hands.
3. I listen to one student at a time.
4. Keep unkind remarks or comments to
yourself.
5. Treat me and your classmates with
respect.
6. Use appropriate voices during
group work.
7. Be prepared to learn daily by
having your supplies and a positive attitude.
Restroom Rules:
1. No talking or playing.
2. Respect bathroom monitors.
3. Wash your hands before leaving the
bathroom.
Cafeteria Rules:
1. Remain silent for the first
10 minutes.
2. Use low voices at the lunchroom
table.
3. Do Not share food.
4. Clean area when through eating.
Rewards:
1. Good conduct grades daily.
2. Verbal praise
3. Special job privileges.
4. Board Game Day
Consequences:
1. Verbal warning and check
2. Second check in agenda and “S” for
conduct.
3. Third check in agenda and "N"for
conduct. Lose break time and a note or phone call to parents.
4. Fourth check in agenda and “U” for
conduct. All of the above and referral to the principal. Principal will follow
Baldwin
County
School
System policy.
