About The Teacher
I LOVE TEACHING 1st Grade!!! I am married to Brian Berry and have 2 children. Blake, 11, a 5th grader at HES and Madison, 7, is a First Grader at HES. We have 1 pet, a Shih Tzu named IZZY. I graduated from the University of North Alabama and I am currently working on my graduate degree. My hobby is reading. My children keep me very busy with sports and other activities. We love our family time!! This consists of playing the Wii, XBOX,running around in the yard, local fishing trips, walking while the kids ride bikes, etc. I am very blessed with a wonderful family!! My husband is amazing and is the best dad in the world! My kids are precious! I get to teach young children how to read--for a living!! It doesn't even feel like a job. The people I work with are like family--don't know what I would do without them! I hope that your child will know when they walk in my classroom they are loved and that I believe in them.
