*****Thanksgiving Break-November 25-28.
*****AR Deadline-December 17th @ 10am.
  • Students will receive a new Spelling Choice on Wednesday, November 18th.  Students need to complete four assignments. The reading story for this week is "Stormalong". The students will recieve new vocabulary words, and we will be focusing on the skill of cause and effect. Students will have the Spelling, Vocabulary, and Reading Tests on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23rd. Spelling Choice will also be due on this day.  We are testing a day early due to some activities that may occur on Tuesday.
  •  In Language, the students are learning about descriptive writing. We will discuss the components of a descriptive five paragraph essay and review singular and plural nouns. 
  • In History, we will continue our study of Chapter 6. The Chapter 6 Test will be Tuesday, December 1st. The students have a study guide to prepare for the test.
  • In Math, the students are working on a variety of different skills. Remember, when students complete their math homework, they must show their work. 
  • In Science, students are studying ecosystems. This is Chapter 5 in the Science book.
