This is my seventh year of teaching fifth grade, and it is my seventh year at
Lakewood. I earned my Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Early
Childhood Education from Columbus State University. Although I teach in
Phenix City, I live in Columbus, Georgia. Outside of school, I am an active
member at Calvary Baptist Church. I am the flute player for our church Praise
Team. I am the proud parent of a beautiful girl who is in 5th grade. In my
spare time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, playing flute and guitar,
drawing, baking, and reading.
My mission is to instill my students with a love of learning, compassion for
others, strong work ethic, and responsibility.
