Rick Burgess from the "Rick and Bubba" show will be speaking at the Marengo Academy High School Gymnasium on Thursday, January 14, 2010.  This will be the first night of Marengo Academy's Deer Hunt.  This event will begin with a Spaghetti Supper at 6:30 p.m.  Tickets are available for $10.00 per plate, but will be limited.  Please get your money in by Friday, December 18th.  We expect this event to sell out and we would like the Marengo Academy Family to have the first opportunity to buy tickets before they go on sale to the general public.

**The police department would like to remind parents about the one way traffic at MAE on Tucker St. They will begin giving tickets for going the wrong way during school hours.

**Santa and Me pictures are in.  Please see Jennifer Mathis at MAE to get your pictures or they can be sent home with the children this week.

**THIS WEEK'S SCHEDULE**  (DEC. 14-18)
MONDAY AND TUESDAY ARE FULL DAYS. 
DISMISS AT 10:OO A.M. ON WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, AND FRIDAY. 
ALL CHRISTMAS PARTIES WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY.

**THE CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION AFTER SCHOOL ON FRIDAY WILL DISMISS AT 4:00 INSTEAD OF 5:00 DUE TO THE CHRISTMAS PARADE AT 6:30.

**Marengo Academy will have a Varsity Sports Banquet on Thursday, December 17th at Forest Hill Baptist Church.  The dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m. for all varsity football players, cheerleaders, volleyball players, and coaches.  Parents are encouraged to attend the awards presentation at 7:00 p.m.

We would like to have a covered dish dinner again this year, so we are asking that each team member bring the following:

Football: Vegetable
Cheerleaders and Watergirls: Meat (casserole, ham, chicken)
Volleyball: Dessert and/or bread

**MARENGO ACADEMY'S BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL TEAMS ARE TAKING ORDERS FOR LONGHORN SWEAT SUITS TO HELP RAISE MONEY FOR THE 2010 SEASON. THE SWEAT SUITS WILL BE GRAY WITH BURNT ORANGE PRINT.  THE SAME LOGO WILL BE PRINTED ON BOTH TOPS AND BOTTOMS.  PLEASE HAVE ORDERS AND MONEY TURNED IN BY TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15TH.
