**THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH IN OBSERVANCE OF VETERAN'S DAY.
**THERE WILL BE A BLOOD DRIVE AT MARENGO ACADEMY ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11TH BEGINNING AT 9:00 A.M. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS MUST HAVE PERMISSION SLIP SIGNED BY PARENTS IN ORDER TO DONATE BLOOD.
**THE 6TH GRADE CLASS IS SELLING COKE PRODUCTS TO RAISE MONEY FOR THEIR WASHINGTON D.C. TRIP. THE SALE WILL RUN THROUGH NOVEMBER 13TH. MONEY MUST BE TURNED IN WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER. PLEASE MAKE CHECKS OUT TO MARENGO ACADEMY. THE DRINKS WILL BE DELIVERED ON DECEMBER 15TH.
**THE SENIOR CLASS WILL BE TAKING "SANTA AND ME" PHOTOS ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8TH BEGINNING AT 4:30 IN THE GYM. THIS IS THE SAME DAY AS MAE'S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM.
**THE BOOSTER CLUB HAS CAR TAGS AVAILABLE FOR $15.00 EACH. THEY ARE THE CHECKER-PLATE SILVER TAG WITH THE LONGHORN IN THE MIDDLE. THEY WILL MAKE GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFTS.
**The yearbook staff is selling Marengo Academy umbrellas for $15.00 and MA huggers for $5.00.

**Students are no longer allowed to work in the concession stands. If you need someone to work in the concession stand for you, you must ask an adult.
**Remember when visiting the school, everyone must enter and exit by the front door and stop by Miss Lee's office. The back doors will be kept closed from 8:00 to 3:30.
**Get your pictures in the yearbook! The Yearbook Staff invites students and parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you've got great photos of school and community events or you and your friends just having fun, we'd like to see them. Our photographers can't be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.
Here is how you can submit photos online:
• Go to: https://images.jostens.com/login
• If it does not automatically log you into the site, enter username:400002687 and password:longhorns
• Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.
• Enter information about the photo and provide contact information in case the staff needs additional information.
• Click "Save Details".
It's that easy! Submit your photos today! The last day to submit photos is 6/1/2010.
