**Due to inclement weather, school will dismiss at 11:30 on Thursday, January 7th, and we will not have school on Friday, January 8th. Lunch will not be served Thursday.
**The basketball games with Wilcox on Thursday, January 7th have been rescheduled for Saturday, January 30th. Friday's basketball games with Meadowview have been rescheduled for Saturday, January 16th beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Rick Burgess from the "Rick and Bubba" show sends his regrets that he will not be speaking at the Spaghetti Supper on Thursday, January 14, 2010. This is the two year anniversary date of the death of his child. Please keep his family in your prayers. We will still have a person from their show attending the Deer Hunt. Rick Cagle will be our guest speaker. He is the pastor that married Rick and Sherri Burgess. He is now a pastor at a church in Mobile. He is a great speaker and you will get your money's worth for the evening. If you have already purchased tickets for the Spaghetti Supper and would like a refund, please contact the school. We appreciate your support and understanding in this matter. However, you may still purchase tickets for the Spaghetti Supper by contacting Dawn Aydelott at 334-627-3514, Jenny Houlditch at 334-295-8134, or the school office at 295-4151.
**Remember when visiting the school, everyone must enter and exit by the front door and stop by Miss Lee's office. The back doors will be kept closed from 8:00 to 3:30.
**The police department would like to remind parents about the one way traffic at MAE on Tucker St. They will begin giving tickets for going the wrong way during school hours.
**Report Cards go out on Thursday, January 7th. Please sign and return as soon as possible.
**Parents please read the H1N1 packets that were sent home today (1-4-10). If you would like your child to be vaccinated, please return the enclosed form by Thursday, January 7th. Vaccines are scheduled to be given at school on Thursday, January 14th.
**MAE's faculty and staff would like to thank all of our parents for helping out with the Christmas parties. We would also like to thank everyone for your kind generosity and thoughtfulness. We appreciate everything you do to help us help your children have a successful school year. We have had a great 2009 and look forward to an even better 2010. WE WISH YOU A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

**The yearbook staff is selling Marengo Academy umbrellas for $15.00 and MA huggers for $5.00.
**Get your pictures in the yearbook! The Yearbook Staff invites students and parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you've got great photos of school and community events or you and your friends just having fun, we'd like to see them. Our photographers can't be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.
Here is how you can submit photos online:

• If it does not automatically log you into the site, enter username:400002687 and password:longhorns
• Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.
• Enter information about the photo and provide contact information in case the staff needs additional information.
