The index by subject and grade level narrows the field. I found "Teaching
Reading 3-5 Workshop". There are 16 half hour sections where the viewer sees
really good reading teachers actually teaching in real settings (to back up
what the experts say)! Allington's section was great for me: Workshop 2.
Fluency and Word Study It focuses on how students in the middle grades
develop vocabulary and reading fluency. He discusses specific teaching
strategies that help build fluency and vocabulary, and then you see real
classrooms implementing those ideas.
