Moody Elementary School

Parents we had a great time with our Boosterthon guys at school last week.  They will be here through the funrun this Thursday.  We have had great participation so far.  But we need everyone to help out!  Remember this is the only fundraiser we will be having as a school so we really have to do our best to raise much needed funding.  Last year’s funrun allowed us to add fencing to our playground area and car riders, and to add our new “Raptorwear” visitor sign-in program.  Both of these items have been critical to providing a safer place for your children.  We were also able to paint the interior of the school, purchase additional textbooks for students, and provide a number of other services, as well as to provide additional instructional money for teacher’s classrooms.  Our teachers receive at least 10% of anything their classroom raises.  That money goes right back into your child’s classroom!  This year we are hoping to raise even more and hopefully alleviate a little of the proration pinch we are feeling.  Please help us out in this effort and be sure and come on out on Thursday, November 12, as Moody Elementary School participates in one of our most fun events ever…the second annual Boosterthon Funrun!
