Spelling: We will not be taking a spelling test this week.
Reading: Monday we will take the test on "William's House. We will be
reviewing for the Unit 2 Assessment Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday and
Friday we will take the Unit 2 Assessment.
Language: Each day we will work on correcting sentences with our daily fix-
it Assessments. We will also spend the week reviewing the language skills
from Unit 2.
Math: We work daily on our daily decimal counting chart. We also work daily
on telling time and measuring temperature. This week we will continue
working on counting money and making change up to $1.00. On Thursday we will
have our weekly timed addition/subtraction test. This test will go in the
gradebook.
Social Studies: We will take our test on chapter 5 (Newcomers Settle). A
study guide will go home Monday. The test on the chapter will be Tuesday.
Please sign and return your child's study guide. They will receive 5 bonus
points on their test if it is returned signed.
Science: We will continue with the introduction to our AMSTI unit Chemical
Tests this week. We will be observing our unknown powders this week.
