Spelling: We will be taking the week 7 test this week. The test will be on
Friday.
Reading: Monday we will take the test on "The Symphony of Whales". The skill
for this story is generalization. The test on this story will be on Friday.
Friday we will take the Unit 2 Assessment.
Language: Each day we will work on correcting sentences with our daily fix-
it. We will also spend the week working with present, past, and future
tenses.
Math: We work daily on our daily decimal counting chart. We also work daily
on telling time and measuring temperature. This week we will continue
working with multiplication and division. We will talk about arrays and fact
families. On Friday we will have a practice timed addition/subtraction
test.
Social Studies: We will continue working in chapter 6.
Science: We will finish testing our unknown powders and begin to identify
them.
