Please practice reading with your child every night even if it is just for
ten minutes. It is a proven fact that even ten minutes a night can increase
your child’s reading ability drastically. Your child’s goal for the ending of
first grade is 40 words per minute. Please practice timing your child for one
minute and see how many words they can correctly read. This will also help
for our upcoming DIBELS test. Thanks for all you do!
We are taking our DIBELS test this Wednesday, August 26th.Please make sure
your child is on time and at school on this important testing day. Thanks!
