Essay FOR ALL 3 BLOCKS - DUE ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 13, 2008 Complete the following writing assignment: Neatly write (or type) an essay (at least two pages, no more than five) on the topic of “Who Am I?” Your paragraphs must be at least 3 to 5 sentences in length, preferably 5 to 8 sentences. If you choose to write your essay, please use black or blue ink (no pencil) and skip a line between each written line. If you choose to type your essay, use 12 pt Times New Roman font. Whether written or typed, be sure to put in the top left corner your name, my name, course name / Block, and the date. For example, Ashley Lemley Mrs. McIntosh English 10 / 3rd Block December 18, 2010 Be sure to answer the following questions in your essay – • Who are you? What factors shaped the identity you have today? How? • What is something you do on a daily basis that defines your character? • What do you believe which guides you through life? Why? How? • What are you strengths? Weaknesses? • What do you feel is your purpose in life? • Why are you taking this course? • What are your expectations of this course? • What are your short-term goals? • What are your long-term goals? • What do you plan on accomplishing while you are here? • What obstacles do you have and how can you meet your goals? • What can I as your teacher do to assist you in meeting those goals? REMEMBER, Your essay should have a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. Be sure to proofread your work for any spelling or typographical errors before you submit.
