Welcome to English 10!
As noted on the syllabus, we will study American Literature, Shakespeare,
grammar, writing (essays, literary criticisms, blogs, journals, wikispaces),
and vocabulary. As you can see, we will have a full calendar of events.
In order to keep up with modern technology and cut back on the excessive use
of paper, each student is required to obtain an e-mail address as many
writing assignments will be submitted via e-mail. You will also need an e-
mail address in order to respond to the weekly discussion questions located
on the class blog page and to add information to our class wiki page.
During the course of the year, the following forms of technology will be used
to add enjoyment to the learning process: blogs, wikis, podcasts, skype,
powerpoints, videos, and digital cameras. Bring your ideas and suggestions
to class, so we all may learn from each other.
