Supplies

SUPPLIES
- Supplies:  mechanical pencils, graph paper (get regular graph paper, not 
the small, green, scientific paper), colored pens (or markers or 
highlighters), straightedge (such as a 6” ruler), notebook zipper pouch 
(some kind of container) for supplies.  There are many assignments that 
require calculators to complete.  Students are responsible for bringing 
their own calculator to school.
Alg 2:  Scientific calculator (with trig and log keys or menus to access 
these functions)
Geom:  Scientific calculator (with trig keys or menus to access these 
functions), protractor (will have a straightedge on it) – note that a 
protractor with an arm makes it easier with which to measure.

- Notebook: Keep all work in a 1 ½-inch, three-ring binder style notebook 
using loose-leaf paper.  (PLEASE, NO SPIRAL NOTEBOOKS.) Your notebook will 
be divided into three sections.

Section 1 - ASSIGNMENTS

All assignments will be in this section.  Your book assignment sheet is the 
first page in this section. Please refer to this assignment sheet especially 
when absent. The second page will contain a list of all your grades so that 
you may closely monitor your average. This sheet comes in very handy when 
receiving a progress report so that you may 
monitor computer data for accuracy.

Section 2 - NOTES.

Notes will be in this section. Your classroom information sheet will be the 
first page in this section.  Some notes will be in your Noteables workbook.  
You may keep your Noteables as a workbook or when you see we are using the 
Noteables, you may tear out those pages and put them in NOTES section of your 
notebook.

Section 3 - ACADEMIC VOCABULARY
