I am also a graduate of Prattville High School. After I graduated from PHS,
I went on to receive my undergraduate degree from the University of
Alabama. Roll Tide! However, I do have a brother-in-law that played
football at Auburn, so War Eagle too!
I am also a student as well. I am currently persuing another degree.
I am looking forward to having a fantastic year with my students!
My mission for the class is the same as the PHS Mission Statement with a
Spanish flair:
To provide the best education possible to prepare students to lead
fulfilling and productive lives in a rapidly changing world while at the same
time to develop to the maximum their language proficiency in Spanish as well
as to know and understand the varied cultures of the Spanish-speaking peoples
of the world.
I also encourage my students to think critically, to question their cultural
assumptions about the Hispanic world, its peoples, and its cultures.
