We will begin our star of the week on September 14th. We will have a star
each full week of school. Please keep this schedule so that you will know
when it is your child’s turn to be the star of the week. When your child is
the star of the week they will get to bring something special to school each
day.

Monday-All About Me poster and estimation jar items
**This poster can include some of their favorite things and pictures of
them with their family and friends. Please send items for our guessing jar
(1-20 objects such as toy cars, erasers, hairbows, candy etc.). We will be
guessing how many there are, so don't let your child know how many!
Tuesday-Favorite Book
**Please send one of their favorite children's books. We will have fun
reading their favorite book.
Wednesday-Favorite Snack
**Please send one of your child's favorite snacks (enough to share
with the entire
class). Drinks are not necessary since we will eat this snack
during our scheduled
snack time.
Thursday-Favorite board game
**Please send one of your child's favorite board games. Your child
will get to choose
people to play his/her game with them. They really enjoy choosing
people to play their
own game. Everyone will have a turn to play, so it's a lot of fun!
Friday-Favorite people
**Your child will get to choose a few special guests to have lunch with
him/her. Usually children enjoy inviting their grandparents, parents, aunts
and uncles, or close friends. Please send a note to let me know how many
people will be eating lunch with your child that day.
