Hi! My name is Marijac Hunt and this will be my fourth year at Prattville
Kindergarten. I graduated from Prattville High School in 2001....GO LIONS!
I graduated college from Auburn University Montgomery with a bachelor's
degree in elementary and early childhood education. I received my master's
degree in elementary education last summer from Troy University Montgomery.
Even though I didn't attend the University of Alabama I am a big Alabama
fan....ROLL TIDE ROLL!
I am very excited about the many new things we have planned for this
school year....it's going to be GREAT!
I hope each child that enters my room learns a lot about themselves and each
other. Kindergarten is the first "real school" experience that most
children have. I also strive to respect and appreciate each child as a
unique individual with various learning styles and personalities. I feel my
responsibility as the teacher is to support the child's own development
through active involvement in the learning process through various learning
activities. I want the children to learn how to work independently and feel
good about themselves.
