Friend of the Week

Friend of the Week

The friend of the week program focuses on the uniqueness of each
child and reinforces positive feelings of self-worth. Listed
below are some special activities your child will be involved in
throughout the week that he/she is "Friend of the Week."

Monday
Friend of the Week backpack: Bring in items for our
guessing jar (1-20 objects that we can estimate and count).
Examples: toy cars, teddy grahams, bottle tops, etc. Please do not
let your child know how many so he/she can participate. However, do
let them pick out the item. Also, bring a toy or book to share.

Bring pictures of family displayed on a half sheet of
poster board - can be snapshots or drawings.

Friday
Invite a special person to lunch this day (parents,
grandparents, etc). Please write me a note that morning of how
many will be coming for lunch so that I may notify the lunchroom.
Our lunch time is 10:57 - 11:22.
