Deanise Peacock - Reading Coach

Read for the Record is an annual literacy event hosted by Jumpstart. The purpose of the event is to fund and support preschool literacy programs. The idea is to have people all over the world read the same book on the same day. This year's selection was The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. Faculty, staff, students, and members of the community joined together at PKS to read and help break last year's record. The event was an overwhelming success. There were over two million readers worldwide!
