From the Teacher’s Desk
We had a wonderful Farm Breakdfast! Thanks for sending food and to the
moms and dads who helped serve!
This is a week of review. Have your child tell you the sound the letters we
have learned make - Ii, Cc, Pp, Ss, Aa, Tt, Mm. Ask him or her to list
things that begin with the sounds /i/, /c/, /p/, /s/, /a/, /t/, /m/.Your
child should know these sounds and letters. I will ask your child to tell me
letters sounds and words for report card testing in the next three weeks.
Review:
Words: he, for, we, my, like have, is to, a, the, little, I, am
Sounds: /i/, /c/, /p/, /s/, /a/, /t/, /m/
Letters: Ii, Cc, Pp, Ss, Aa, Tt, Mm
Please help your child practice “sounding out” and reading these words at
home.
