Welcome to Prattville Kindergarten! I am delighted that I will be your
child’s teacher for the 2008-2009 school year. My name is Mrs. Gay
Ernsbarger. I am looking forward to working with you and your child. We
are a team working together to make your child’s kindergarten experience fun
and successful.
Important dates and information are discussed below.
PARENT ORIENTATION
Parent Orientation is Tuesday, August 5th from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in our
classroom (Room 32). This time is reserved for Parents Only. We have a lot
of information to go over and discuss. At the end of the meeting, you will
be able to purchase supplies, lunch tickets, and pay APT dues.
Transportation and daycare representatives will be available in the
lunchroom to answer questions.
MONEY MATTERS
$30.00 Supply Packet: crayons, pencils, glue, paper, journals (for the
entire year), scissors, notebook, pouch and library bag
$20.00 Prattville Kindergarten Tote Bag and T-shirt
(Backpacks are NOT allowed)
$10.00 Instructional Donation
(You can write one check to PKS)
$15.00 Lunch Ticket (for 2 weeks - milk is included) Make check to PKS CNP

Additional Classroom Supplies:
Everyone: Liquid hand sanitizer (no soap), copy paper, washable markers
Boys: Paper towels and Lysol or Clorox wipes
Girls: Kleenex and baby wipes or Wet Ones wipes
* You may bring these items to Parent Orientation or Student Visitation *
STUDENT VISITATION
On Wednesday, August 6th your child is invited to visit the classroom and
meet me from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. I look forward to meeting you and your child!
FIRST DAY of SCHOOL
Thursday, August 7 is the first day of the 2008-2009 school year.
