My name is Pam Hunter and I will be your child’s Kindergarten
teacher for the 2008-2009 school year. I look forward to meeting you and
your child. Together we will make your child’s kindergarten year a memorable
experience. This letter will provide the information you need prior to
meeting with me.
Parent Orientation
Parent Orientation is Tuesday, August 5th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the
classroom (room 29). Keep straight when you enter the front door and my
room is the second room on the right. Please remember that this time is
reserved for PARENTS ONLY. You will be able to purchase supplies, lunch/milk
tickets, and pay APT dues if you wish, at the end of orientation.
Supplies
$30.00 Supply Packet (includes: crayons, pencils, scissors, glue, paper,
binder, zipper pouch, library bag and 2 writing journals for the year)
$20.00 Prattville Kindergarten Bag and Shirt (BACKPACKS ARE NOT ALLOWED)
$10.00 Instructional Donation
$15.00 Lunch Ticket (Lunch,milk inclided, ticket for two weeks)
$3.50 Milk Ticket (Milk only ticket for two weeks)
$5.00 APT (Association for Parents and Teachers) Dues
Classroom supplies all students will need: Please bring all supplies to
parent orientation. It is difficult for the children to bring supplies in
on the first day of school.

Towel for rest time (please no mats or pillows)
Markers (8 pack Crayola)
1 pack of Computer Paper
Liquid Hand Sanitizer (no soap please)
Girls only-Kleenex and Lysol or Clorox wipes
Boys only- Baby Wipes and Paper Towels
Student Visitation
Student Visitation is Wednesday, August 6th from 9:00-9:30am
First Day of School
The first day of school is Thursday, August 7th
