The friend of the week program focuses on the uniqueness of each
child and reinforces positive feelings of self-worth. Each week we
will be highlighting a child from our classroom. Below are listed
some of the special activities your child will be involved when it is
his/her turn. You will also will be notified in advance letting you
know that it is your child's turn.

Monday:
*Bring items for our guessing jar that we can estimate and
count. (1-20 objects * toy cars, bottle tops, paper clips, etc.*)
Let your child help pick out the item to be used, but don’t let your
child know how many items so he or she may participate.
*Bring a 1/2 sized sheet of poster board with snapshots and
or drawings of the family, hobbies, special memories for your child
to share.
*Bring an item for show and tell.
Friday:
Invite a special person to lunch this day. Please send me a
note telling me how many guests will be coming and if they will be
eating in the lunchroom. Our lunch time is 10:45-11:10.
