About The Teacher

     I graduated The University of Texas at Austin in 1996 with a Master's 
Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders Specializing in Deafness.  I 
am in my 8th year as a Special Education Teacher.  Being a military spouse 
has provided me with the opportunity of teaching in a variety of states all 
across this great country of ours and in Europe.  I have taught Kindergarten 
through 8th grade and find each grade level unique and rewarding.

     My philosopy is to do what is necessary to help each child take 
ownership of their own learning and to maintain high expectations for 
achievement, so that each little kiddo can reach their academic and social 
potential.  Thank you for sharing your little one with me.  It is my
