It is hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner. Here is what
will be going on in our busy classroom as we count down to Christmas!

Notices of upcoming events:
Christmas Shirts: Please send a gray sweatshirt, turtleneck, or longsleeved
shirt by Friday, Dec. 4th. We will be making Santa shirts for our Christmas
Holiday Program. I will need volunteers to help us make our shirts on
Tuesday, Dec. 8th and Thursday, Dec. 10th at 1:00pm. If you can help us,
please let me know.
Cookie Swap: Each child needs to bring 1 dozen cookies to school on
Wednesday, December 9th. This will be part of our Five Senses study
(tasting!!).
Field Trip Reminder: We will have our Christmas Extravaganza Field Trip
Monday, Dec 7th in the Gym from 12 -2. Chaperones please be here by
11:45am. Please remember lunch is provided for this activity.
Christmas Holiday Program: On Wednesday, Dec. 16th, we will be performing a
Christmas Program. It will be at 1:30 pm in the gym.
Rocking Around the Christmas Tree: On Dec. 15th Children can wear 50's and
60's attire to school. We will be having special guests eat lunch with us.
Christmas Party: On Thursday, Dec. 17th, we will have our class Christmas
Party. A Room Mom may be getting in touch with you on what they would like
for you to bring. Also, the children will be exchanging books as gifts
before the party. If you could please send a wrapped book with a label from
your child, anytime between now and Tuesday, December 15th. Boys bring a
book for a boy and Girls bring a book for a girl.
